Crown Fields

Illustration pattern only. No free-licence photograph yet: can you suggest one?

The solver places crowns by deduction alone.

How it is played

The solver places crowns by deduction alone. A region that is one square wide fixes a crown at once; the rows and columns it occupies are then cleared, and the chain of eliminations continues until every region holds exactly one crown.

Heritage note

An Arcforge original, created for the World Heritage Games collection rather than drawn from one tradition.

Origins

Usually placed in the era of Modern Heritage (1800 to today).
