About this game
Ampe is a jumping and clapping game from Ghana, played in playgrounds across West Africa. Face your opponent, clap and jump on the beat, and throw out one foot: the same foot and the Leader scores, a different foot and the Follower does. Tap LEFT or RIGHT as the ring closes. Five computer opponents that learn your habits, a Learn path, Think hints, Practice and Watch & Learn.
How to play
- A steady beat runs. Each round is two beats: a clap and hop, then the big jump with a clap.
- Tap LEFT or RIGHT as the ring reaches the gold target, when your player takes off.
- At the top of the jump both players throw out the chosen foot.
- Same foot: the Leader scores. Different feet: the Follower scores and becomes the Leader.
- Be first to 11 points. The computer reads your habits, so mix your feet.
