About this game
A wit-and-puzzle storytelling game inspired by the Anansi tales of the Akan people of Ghana. A storyteller and her listeners tell five folk tales; you solve the tricks: sequences, matches, riddles, cause-and-effect traps and clever replies. Painted-cloth art, a Gallery of woven story-cloths, hints and Watch and Learn.
How to play
- Listen to the storyteller, then solve one small puzzle in each of four beats.
- Tap cards in order, match pairs, pick the riddle answer, or build the trap one tool at a time.
- A wrong pick shows what would really happen and costs only a star.
- Tap Hint for a nudge, again to see the answer; Watch and Learn plays a tale for you.
- Finish a tale to hang its woven cloth in the Gallery.
