Co Ganh
Flank them, trap them, flip them all.
About this game
Co Ganh (Cờ gánh) is a traditional Vietnamese game played on a small board of lines and diagonals. Step one point at a time: land between two enemy pieces and both flip to your colour, or close the last gap round a group and the whole group flips. Five computer levels, two players on one phone, hands-on lessons, hints that explain why, danger marks, take back and a Watch & Learn mode. A rice-paper board with lacquer pieces that turn like coins, large text and reduced motion options, no ads, works offline.
How to play
- New here? Tap Learn to play: six short hands-on lessons where you make every move yourself.
- Tap a piece and its reachable points glow. A piece steps one point along a line.
- Diagonal lines run only through points whose row plus column is even; the board shows them.
- Flank: step between two enemy pieces on a line and both flip to your colour.
- A gold ring means that step flips pieces; the number says how many.
- Trap: close the last empty point round an enemy group and the whole group flips.
- Open point: if the enemy leaves a point you can flank into, you must step in.
- Auto Play shows the computer playing both sides, with Pause. Hint explains a good move.
