Stone and Sweep

About this game

Slide granite stones down a sheet of pebbled ice with real friction, curl and collisions. Place the broom, choose the weight and the turn, then rub the ice to sweep: the stone slides further and curls less. Play five computer rivals, share the phone, learn the shots in short lessons, or watch two players explain their choices.

How to play

1. Drag on the ice to put the broom where the stone should stop.
2. Choose Draw, Tap, Takeout or Peel, and an in-turn or out-turn curl, then press Throw.
3. Rub the ice while the stone slides: sweeping carries it further and keeps it straighter.
4. After the last stone, the side closest to the button scores one point for each stone closer than the other side's best.
5. The side that scores gives up the last stone for the next end.
