About this game

Gobak Sodor, also called Galah Asin and Hadang, is the courtyard game of Indonesia and Malaysia. Lifelike 3D players: lead three runners up a guarded court, cross each chalk line at the right moment, use a teammate as a decoy and run all the way home. Three courts, a hint button, Auto Play, a full Rules page, large text and portrait or landscape play. No ads, works offline.

How to play

1. TAP a runner to pick it, then TAP a cell or SWIPE to step it one cell. After each step every guard moves once.
2. Lanes are safe. A guard touches a runner on its chalk line within one cell of it, so watch the red zone.
3. A ghost shows each guard's next cell; chasers follow the nearest runner on or beside their line.
4. Park a runner in the lane beside a chaser to draw it away, then cross on the far side with another.
5. Touch the far end, then come back down to the home lane. Each runner home is one star.
6. A match is three rounds. Hint shows the computer's step; Wait passes a beat.
7. Keyboard: arrows step, 1 to 3 pick a runner, Space waits, H hint.
