About this game

Konane is a traditional Hawaiian strategy game: black and white stones fill a carved lava-stone slab, and every move is a jump that removes the stone you hop over. Whoever cannot jump loses. Learn with eight hands-on lessons, watch a full free Auto Play demonstration that thinks, reveals and plays every move for you, play a computer at four levels on 6x6, 8x8 or 10x10 boards, or solve a new daily puzzle where exactly one first jump wins by force. How to play

1. TAP one of your stones, then TAP a glowing square to jump there.
2. Jump over a touching enemy stone into the empty square behind it.
3. Keep hopping in one straight line, or stop after any hop.
4. You cannot turn a corner in one move, and you must jump if you can.
5. The first player with no jump left loses. There are no draws.
6. Eight lessons teach every rule by doing, or watch free Auto Play think and play a full game for you.
7. Take back moves and ask for hints that explain why.
8. Solve the daily puzzle: only one first jump wins.
