Lapta
Aim the bat, time the swing, run the far line and dodge the throw.
About this game
The old Russian bat-and-run from the village green. Aim between the fielders, time your swing, then decide: run, come back, or stay safe. Dodge the thrown ball to score. Three fielding sides, rival batters, two players, Think and Watch & Learn.
How to play
- Drag on the green to aim, release as the ring closes to swing.
- Early swings loft and pull left; late swings flatten and push right.
- Tap Run! when the ball is far from the fielders; the far line is one point.
- Come back for two more, or stay safe on the line.
- Tap Dodge when a fielder winds up; Think gives a tested suggestion.
