How to play

  1. New here? Tap Learn to play: eight short hands-on lessons where you make every move yourself.
  2. Tap a stone and the points it can reach glow. A stone steps one point along a drawn line, in any direction.
  3. Jump over an enemy stone right next to yours, in a straight line, onto the empty point behind it to capture it.
  4. After a jump the same stone may jump again in the same turn. You can stop after any jump.
  5. A red ring with a number shows a capturing move and how many stones it takes.
  6. Classic: capturing is your choice. Must capture: if you can jump, you have to. Quick: first to eight.
  7. Hint explains a good move. Danger marks warn about stones that can be captured next. Take back undoes your last move.
  8. Auto Play shows the computer playing both sides, with Pause. 25 quiet moves each settle the game on stones.
