About this game

Thanjavur Dancing Doll turns the famous weighted folk toy of southern India into a balance and rhythm game. Slide each doll's bead to tune its swing, tap to keep it nodding, and match a ghost doll's sway before settling every doll upright. 24 levels, a daily set, painted-doll collection, Practice, Watch and Learn, an in-app Rules book, portrait and landscape play, synthesised sound, no ads.

How to play

1. Slide a doll's bead until its swing time matches the tag.
2. Tap a doll on the side it is leaving to keep it swinging; near the rim is a firm push.
3. Stay inside the ghost doll during the Hold part to score.
4. Rest a finger on a doll to steady it, and settle them upright at the end.
5. Earn stars to paint the clay dolls: body, face, then gold trim.
6. Watch and Learn tunes and plays the level for you and thinks before each part. Pause it any time.
7. On a keyboard: 1-3 pick a doll, Left and Right push, Up and Down move the bead, Space starts.
