Tsoro Yematatu
Drop three stones, then slide them into a line.
About this game
Tsoro yematatu is a traditional game of Zimbabwe played on a triangle with a bar across it. Each side drops three stones onto seven points, then slides them one step at a time along the lines; three in a row wins, and so does leaving the other side with no move. Easy to learn in a minute, tense to master. Five computer levels, two players on one phone, five hands-on lessons, hints, threat marks, take back and a Watch & Learn mode. Three triangles, a carved soapstone board with gold inlay, large text and reduced motion options, no ads, works offline.
How to play
- New here? Tap Learn to play: five short hands-on lessons where you make every move yourself.
- Take turns dropping your stones: tap any empty point on the triangle.
- When all your stones are down, tap one of them and its reachable points glow. Tap a glowing point, or drag the stone there.
- A stone slides one step along a line to the next point, and never jumps.
- Get three of your stones in a row along a line to win, or leave the other side with no move.
- Red rings show points where the other side would make a line next turn: block them.
- Auto Play shows the computer playing both sides, with Pause. Hint explains a good move.
- Settings has two larger triangles, Grand and Ten Points.
