What we collect
Nothing. Global Intelligence — the iOS app, the Android app, and this website — does not have user accounts, does not run analytics or crash-reporting SDKs, does not use advertising identifiers, and does not send any information about you, your device, or your usage to us or to any third party.
How the apps work
The only network activity the apps perform is downloading the latest briefing pack —
the same public JSON data published on this site — on a schedule or when you tap refresh.
That request carries no identifying information beyond what any HTTP request inherently
includes (such as your IP address, visible to our hosting provider, never logged or
linked to anything else). Nothing you do inside the app — what you read, pin, search for,
or hide — is ever sent anywhere. It is written only to storage local to your device
(UserDefaults on iOS, local preferences/storage on Android) and never leaves it.
Notifications
Reminder notifications, when you enable them, are scheduled locally on your device by the operating system. There is no push-notification server and no device token is ever collected — we have no way to send you anything remotely, even if we wanted to.
Accounts and payment
Global Intelligence has no account system of its own. The Briefing feed, Top 10, and Supply Chain are unlocked by Global Intelligence Premium, an auto-renewing monthly subscription (price shown at checkout in your store's local currency), billed and managed entirely through the Apple App Store or Google Play — your payment method and identity are held by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies, never by us. The app receives only entitlement status (subscribed or not), never payment details.
Where the briefing content comes from
The briefing is assembled from public RSS feeds published by the news outlets listed in our source registry. We summarize reporting in our own words and always link back to the original article. This is a one-way process — reading the news does not involve reading anything about you.
Children's privacy
Because the apps collect no personal information from anyone, there is no data of any kind collected from children or any other user.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the update will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Given the apps collect nothing, we don't expect that to happen often.
