Explains, never advises — on the site, same as in the app.

Not a government entity

Global Monetary Systems is an independent educational reference published by EqualInformation, LLC. It is not a government entity, provides no government services, and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for any government, central bank or international organization — including the U.S. Department of the Treasury, the Federal Reserve, the IMF, the World Bank and the Bank for International Settlements. The app shows the original web address of every source it cites; always confirm anything here with the original official source.

Official sources

The institutions whose public information the app summarizes:

Each country card in the app cites that country's own central bank and other official bodies.

Educational information, not advice

Global Monetary Systems (the app and this website) provides general educational information about how monetary systems work — historically, currently, and as proposed for the future. Nothing here is financial, legal, investment, or tax advice, and nothing here is a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, or otherwise transact in any currency, security, commodity, or digital asset.

Explains mechanisms, never tells you what to do

Where the content describes what has historically followed a rate decision, an inflation print, or a currency move, it is describing a documented pattern with sources — not predicting what will happen next, and never suggesting a specific action for your own money. For decisions about your own finances, consult a licensed financial, legal, or tax professional who knows your specific situation.

Sourced, but not infallible

Every factual claim is traced to a named source — official institutions (IMF, World Bank, BIS, central banks, treasuries) first, peer-reviewed research otherwise. Sources can themselves be revised, and data changes over time; always check a citation's "as of" date, and treat live figures as indicative rather than final until you've verified them against the primary source.

Even-handed on contested topics

Topics like Bitcoin's classification (commodity, property, or currency), gold's role as money versus a reserve asset, and the design trade-offs of proposed future systems are presented with their genuine range of interpretations — never as the app's own editorial position.

Third-party links

Citations link to official institutions' own pages, which are governed by those institutions' own terms and privacy policies, not ours.
