This Privacy Policy applies to the CareCircle app (iOS bundle identifier: com.equalinformation.carecircle.app; Android package name: com.carecircle.app). CareCircle is available on iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play).
CareCircle is a caregiver coordination app. Depending on how you use the app, CareCircle may store information on your device, including:

CareCircle does not collect, transmit, or store any user data on servers. All data is stored locally on your device using SwiftData (iOS) or Room (Android). There is no cloud sync, no user accounts, and no user tracking. CareCircle does not require an internet connection to function (except for in-app purchase verification).
CareCircle does not use any analytics SDKs, crash reporters, or tracking tools. No data is sent to third-party analytics services. No advertising identifiers are collected.
CareCircle may use Apple App Store In-App Purchase (on iOS) or Google Play Billing (on Android) for eligible in-app purchase functionality. Apple or Google may process payment and transaction information under their own respective policies. CareCircle may receive limited purchase-status or product information needed to unlock purchased content on your device. EqualInformation, LLC does not receive your full payment card number through CareCircle.
CareCircle allows you to record health-related data such as vital signs, symptoms, and medications. This information is stored exclusively on your device and is never transmitted to external servers. CareCircle is not a medical device and is not intended to replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

EqualInformation, LLC does not sell personal or sensitive user data. We do not share users' data with data brokers or for advertising purposes. The company does not intentionally transmit personal or sensitive CareCircle user data to its own servers or unrelated third parties.
All data in CareCircle is stored locally on your device. Purchase-related unlock state may be restorable through App Store or Google Play for eligible purchases. Uninstalling CareCircle removes all locally stored data from your device, including all care records, contacts, and preferences.
CareCircle relies on iOS and Android platform protections and app sandboxing as part of its local-first design. Care data is stored within the app's private sandbox and is not accessible to other apps. However, no method of storage or electronic transmission is completely secure, and the company cannot guarantee absolute security.
You may choose to purchase premium content or not. You control what information you enter into the app. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data from your device.
CareCircle is intended for adult caregivers. It is not designed for or directed at children under 13. CareCircle does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe information has been provided inappropriately, please contact the company.
