SoloOS is developed by EqualInformation, LLC. This Privacy Policy applies to the SoloOS mobile application for iOS and Android, distributed under the bundle identifier com.equalinformation.soloOS.app, and to all pages that link to this policy.

The short version

SoloOS is built privacy-first. It runs entirely on your device. We do not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. Your business data — clients, invoices, contracts, time entries, and financial records — never leaves your phone. There are no accounts, no advertising, no third-party analytics, and no subscription server-side tracking.

What stays on your device

• Business data. All clients, invoices, proposals, contracts, time entries, and expense records are stored locally using encrypted on-device storage. They are never transmitted to EqualInformation.
• AI Business Advisor. The on-device AI reads your own business data to answer questions. All inference runs locally; no prompts or answers are sent to any server.
• Financial data. Revenue, cash flow projections, expense records, and tax estimates are computed locally and never leave your device.

Optional email drafts

SoloOS can draft emails for you (invoice follow-ups, client communications) and open your native mail app pre-populated with the draft. SoloOS does not send email directly — it always hands off to your device’s own mail app. No email credentials are stored in SoloOS.

Optional iCloud / Google Drive sync

You may optionally enable sync to your personal iCloud Drive (iOS) or Google Drive (Android). This uses your own account via the operating system’s standard sync mechanism. EqualInformation does not have access to your iCloud or Google Drive.

Optional Stripe payment links

If you choose to generate a payment link, SoloOS uses your own Stripe account via the Stripe API. EqualInformation does not process or receive any payment information. Your Stripe API key is stored only on your device.

Purchases

SoloOS Pro is purchased entirely through the Apple App Store or Google Play. EqualInformation receives only an anonymous entitlement status used to unlock features on your device — never your name, email, or payment details. Purchases are tied to your Apple ID or Google account, so no separate account is needed.

Children’s privacy

SoloOS is intended for business use by adults. Because the app collects no personal data from anyone, it collects none from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date.
