PlainAuto ("the App") is developed and published by EqualInformation, LLC. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and your rights.

Data Collection

PlainAuto does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data.

• The App runs 100% offline on your device.
• No analytics, tracking, or telemetry is used.
• No account creation is required.
• No data is sent to any server, third party, or cloud service.

Data Stored on Your Device

The App stores the following data locally on your device only:

• Vehicle information (year, make, model, mileage, nickname) — stored locally for your convenience.
• Service history records (date, service name, mileage, cost, shop, notes) — stored locally to help you track maintenance.
• App preferences (selected mode: Car Owner or Mechanic) — stored locally.

This data never leaves your device. It is not backed up to any cloud service by the App. You can delete this data at any time by deleting the App.

In-App Purchases

The App offers optional one-time in-app purchases (Owner Premium, Pro Upgrade, Complete Bundle) through Apple's App Store or Google Play. These transactions are processed entirely by Apple or Google. EqualInformation does not receive, store, or have access to your payment information, Apple ID, or Google account details.

Third-Party Services

PlainAuto does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking services. The only third-party interaction is with Apple App Store or Google Play Store for processing in-app purchases.

Children's Privacy

The App does not collect any data from anyone, including children under 13. It is safe for all ages.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
