This Privacy Policy applies to the RepairMate app (iOS bundle identifier: com.equalinformation.repairmate.app; Android package name: com.equalinformation.repairmate.app). RepairMate is available on iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play).
RepairMate is a home repair guide app. Depending on how you use the app, RepairMate may store information on your device, including:

RepairMate does not collect, transmit, or store any user data on servers. All data is stored locally on your device using UserDefaults (iOS) or SharedPreferences (Android). There is no cloud sync, no user accounts, and no user tracking. RepairMate does not require an internet connection to function (except for in-app purchase verification).
RepairMate does not use any analytics SDKs, crash reporters, or tracking tools. No data is sent to third-party analytics services. No advertising identifiers are collected.
RepairMate may use Apple App Store In-App Purchase (on iOS) or Google Play Billing (on Android) for eligible in-app purchase functionality. Apple or Google may process payment and transaction information under their own respective policies. RepairMate may receive limited purchase-status or product information needed to unlock purchased content on your device. EqualInformation, LLC does not receive your full payment card number through RepairMate.
RepairMate provides home repair guides for informational purposes only. The app is not responsible for any damage or injury resulting from repairs. Always follow local building codes and regulations. When in doubt, consult a licensed professional. Electrical and gas work may require permits.

EqualInformation, LLC does not sell personal or sensitive user data. We do not share users' data with data brokers or for advertising purposes. The company does not intentionally transmit personal or sensitive RepairMate user data to its own servers or unrelated third parties.
All data in RepairMate is stored locally on your device. Purchase-related unlock state may be restorable through App Store or Google Play for eligible purchases. Uninstalling RepairMate removes all locally stored data from your device, including all repair progress, tool lists, and preferences.
RepairMate relies on iOS and Android platform protections and app sandboxing as part of its local-first design. App data is stored within the app's private sandbox and is not accessible to other apps. However, no method of storage or electronic transmission is completely secure, and the company cannot guarantee absolute security.
You may choose to purchase Pro content or not. You control what information you enter into the app. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data from your device.
RepairMate is intended for adult homeowners and renters. It is not designed for or directed at children under 13. RepairMate does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe information has been provided inappropriately, please contact the company.
