This Privacy Policy applies to the Nutrisize Pro app (package name: com.nutrisize.pro) and related EqualInformation, LLC pages that link to this policy.
Nutrisize is designed as a local-first app. Depending on how you use the app, Nutrisize may store information on your device, including: health and profile information you choose to enter (such as age, weight, height, resting heart rate, blood pressure, fasting glucose, activity level, goals, dietary preferences, medical constraints, and country or region); saved health history, notes, and reference-related records; in-app notification preferences and any optional contact information; local app settings and feature-access state; limited purchase-status information needed to reflect an eligible Google Play in-app purchase.
Nutrisize uses information primarily to provide app features on your device, including: personalized nutrition and exercise guidance, saved health history and local reference tracking, notification preferences, local app settings, and purchased feature access and restore behavior.
EqualInformation, LLC does not operate a general Nutrisize cloud sync service for the Android app for users' health records and profile data. The health and profile information you enter into Nutrisize is intended to remain on your device unless you choose to interact with external third-party services from within the app.
Nutrisize may allow you to open or view third-party websites, chat services, or reference materials from within the app. If you choose to use those third-party services, your device may connect directly to those services, and those services may receive information such as your IP address, device, browser or WebView information, and any information you choose to enter. Those third-party services operate under their own privacy policies and terms, not this Privacy Policy.
NutriGuide, the app's built-in search assistant, performs all searches entirely on your device using bundled databases. No search queries or health data are sent to external servers by NutriGuide.
However, NutriGuide provides optional links to the following independent third-party AI services for additional research:
What data may be shared: Nutrisize Pro does NOT automatically send any user data (health parameters, profile information, search queries, or any other app data) to these third-party AI services. However, if you choose to open one of these services and voluntarily type questions, text, or health information into it, that data is sent directly from your device to the respective third-party service's servers and is governed by that service's privacy policy — not this one.
How it works: These services open in an embedded browser (WebView) within the app. You control what you type. Nutrisize Pro does not pre-fill, attach, or transmit any of your health data, profile information, or app data to these services.
User consent: Before opening any third-party AI service, the app displays a consent dialog that clearly identifies the data recipient, explains what data may be shared, and requires your explicit agreement before proceeding. You can cancel at any time.
Their privacy policies: Each third-party AI service operates under its own privacy policy and terms of service, which are independent from Nutrisize Pro. We strongly encourage you to review their respective privacy policies before sharing any personal or health-related information.
Nutrisize may use Google Play Billing for eligible in-app purchase functionality. Google may process payment and transaction information under Google's own policies. Nutrisize may receive limited purchase-status or product information needed to unlock purchased content on your device. EqualInformation, LLC does not receive your full payment card number through Nutrisize.
Nutrisize's core nutrition and exercise features do not require SMS or Call Log permissions. Nutrisize is not intended to operate as a default SMS, phone, or assistant application.
EqualInformation, LLC does not sell personal or sensitive user data. We do not share users' health data with data brokers or for advertising purposes. Except for user-initiated interactions with third-party websites or services, and limited purchase-status handling through Google Play, the company does not intentionally transmit personal or sensitive Nutrisize Pro user data to its own servers or unrelated third parties.
Data stored by Nutrisize generally remains on your device until you delete it inside the app, clear the app's local storage, or uninstall the app. Purchase-related unlock state may also be restorable through Google Play for eligible purchases.
Nutrisize relies on Android platform protections, app sandboxing, and on-device storage as part of its local-first design. However, no method of storage or electronic transmission is completely secure, and the company cannot guarantee absolute security.
You may choose what information to enter into Nutrisize. You may choose not to use external chat services, browser links, or embedded third-party web content. You may remove locally stored app data by clearing app storage or uninstalling the app.
Nutrisize is not intended to knowingly collect personal information online from children through an EqualInformation, LLC-operated backend service for the Android app. If you believe information has been provided inappropriately, please contact the company.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and revise the Effective Date above.
