This Privacy Policy applies to the ChronoTrack app (iOS bundle identifier: com.equalinformation.chronotrack.app; Android package name: com.chronotrack.app). ChronoTrack is available on iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play).
ChronoTrack is a chronic condition tracker with on-device pattern analysis designed for two audiences:

ChronoTrack does not collect, transmit, or store any user data on our servers. All data is stored locally on your device using SwiftData (iOS) or Room database (Android). There is no cloud sync, no user accounts, and no user tracking. ChronoTrack does not require an internet connection to function for core features (except for in-app purchase verification and optional external API data fetching).
ChronoTrack can optionally fetch data from external APIs to enrich your health tracking experience. These include:
Important: When external APIs are used, the data fetched is cached locally on your device. ChronoTrack never sends your personal health data to these APIs — it only fetches reference data (weather conditions, drug information, research articles). You control which APIs are enabled and can disable them at any time.
API keys you enter are encrypted and stored exclusively on your device. ChronoTrack does not transmit your API keys to our servers or any third party. ChronoTrack has no financial relationship with any external data provider.
ChronoTrack's pattern analysis engine runs entirely on your device. Your symptom data is analyzed locally to identify trends, trigger correlations, and medication effectiveness. No data is sent to any external AI service, cloud provider, or third-party server for analysis.
ChronoTrack does not use any analytics SDKs, crash reporters, or tracking tools. No data is sent to third-party analytics services. No advertising identifiers are collected.
ChronoTrack uses Apple App Store In-App Purchase (on iOS) or Google Play Billing (on Android) for subscription functionality (ChronoTrack Plus and ChronoTrack Pro tiers). Apple or Google may process payment and transaction information under their own respective policies. ChronoTrack may receive limited purchase-status or product information needed to unlock purchased content on your device. EqualInformation, LLC does not receive your full payment card number through ChronoTrack.
ChronoTrack stores symptom data, pain levels, trigger information, medication logs, and wellness tracking data that may be considered sensitive health information. This data is stored exclusively on your device and is never transmitted to any server (unless you explicitly configure a data connector to share data with a healthcare provider). ChronoTrack does not access Apple Health, Google Health Connect, or any other health platform without your explicit permission.
Pro tier users (healthcare professionals) may receive patient data through QR codes, share codes, or file transfers. This data sharing is initiated entirely by the patient and requires the patient's explicit consent. All shared data is stored locally on the receiving device. ChronoTrack does not operate a cloud relay or intermediary server for data sharing.

ChronoTrack does not require microphone, contacts, or other sensitive permissions.
ChronoTrack allows data export in multiple formats: PDF reports, CSV files, and FHIR R4 JSON. All exports are generated locally on your device and shared using your device's native share sheet. No data is uploaded to any server during the export process.
EqualInformation, LLC does not sell personal or sensitive user data. We do not share users' data with data brokers or for advertising purposes. The company does not intentionally transmit personal or sensitive ChronoTrack user data to its own servers or unrelated third parties.
All data in ChronoTrack is stored locally on your device. Subscription-related unlock state may be restorable through App Store or Google Play for eligible purchases. Uninstalling ChronoTrack removes all locally stored data from your device, including all symptom entries, medication logs, journal entries, cached API data, connector configurations, and preferences.
ChronoTrack relies on iOS and Android platform protections and app sandboxing as part of its local-first design. App data is stored within the app's private sandbox and is not accessible to other apps. API keys stored in the API Key Vault are encrypted using platform-native encryption (Keychain on iOS, KeyStore on Android). However, no method of storage or electronic transmission is completely secure, and the company cannot guarantee absolute security.
You may choose to subscribe to Plus or Pro content or not. You control what information you enter into the app. You can enable or disable external API data sources at any time. You can add, pause, or remove data connectors at any time. You can set your own API budgets and spending limits. You can export your data at any time. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data from your device.
ChronoTrack is intended for adults (18+). It is not designed for or directed at children under 13. ChronoTrack does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe information has been provided inappropriately, please contact the company.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and revise the Effective Date above.
