This Privacy Policy applies to the Nutrisize iOS app and related EqualInformation, LLC pages that link to this policy.
Nutrisize is designed as a local-first app. Depending on how you use the app, Nutrisize may store information on your device, including: health and profile information you choose to enter (such as age, weight, height, resting heart rate, blood pressure, fasting glucose, activity level, goals, dietary preferences, medical constraints, and country or region); saved health history, notes, verifications, and chat history; in-app notification preferences and optional SMS/email contact information; local app settings and feature-access state; limited purchase-status information needed to reflect an eligible Apple in-app purchase.
Nutrisize uses information primarily to provide app features on your device, including: personalized nutrition and exercise guidance, saved health history and local reference tracking, notification preferences, local app settings, and purchased feature access and restore behavior.
EqualInformation, LLC does not operate a general Nutrisize cloud sync service for the iOS app for users' health records and profile data. The health and profile information you enter into Nutrisize is intended to remain on your device unless you choose to interact with external third-party services from within the app.
Chat history is stored locally on your device. If future versions connect to external AI providers, the app will send only necessary information and update this policy.
Nutrisize may allow you to open or view third-party websites or reference materials from within the app. If you choose to use those third-party services, your device may connect directly to those services, and those services may receive information such as your IP address, device, and browser information. Nutrisize may also perform limited public reference checks for verification purposes. Those third-party services operate under their own privacy policies and terms, not this Privacy Policy.
Nutrisize may use Apple In-App Purchase functionality for eligible purchases. Apple handles all payment processing under Apple's own policies and terms. Nutrisize may receive limited purchase-status or product information needed to unlock purchased content on your device. EqualInformation, LLC does not receive your full payment card number through Nutrisize.
EqualInformation, LLC does not sell personal or sensitive user data. We do not share users' health data with data brokers or for advertising purposes. Except for user-initiated interactions with third-party websites or services, and limited purchase-status handling through Apple, the company does not intentionally transmit personal or sensitive Nutrisize iOS user data to its own servers or unrelated third parties.
Data stored by Nutrisize generally remains on your device until you delete it inside the app, clear the app's local storage, or uninstall the app. Purchase-related unlock state may also be restorable through Apple for eligible purchases.
Nutrisize relies on iOS platform protections, app sandboxing, and on-device storage as part of its local-first design. However, no method of storage or electronic transmission is completely secure, and the company cannot guarantee absolute security.
You may choose what information to enter into Nutrisize. You may choose not to use chat features, browser links, or embedded third-party web content. You may remove locally stored app data by deleting the app or resetting its data through iOS settings.
Nutrisize is not intended to knowingly collect personal information online from children through an EqualInformation, LLC-operated backend service for the iOS app. If you believe information has been provided inappropriately, please contact the company.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and revise the Effective Date above.
